Connect Fokuno to AI assistants

You can plan your week in conversation: with Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any tool that understands MCP. Fokuno works just as well without.

What the connection can do

Fokuno includes an MCP server. MCP is an open standard through which AI assistants talk to programs. If you connect Fokuno to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or another tool that understands MCP, the assistant can read and change your tasks, habits and appointments when you ask it to. The planner then redistributes everything.

Examples of requests to an assistant:

• “What is still coming up this week, and is there enough time until Friday?”
• “I have a biology exam on the 12th. Plan three hours of studying for me.”
• “Take a break from distractions from 8 pm today.”
• “From next week, read three times a week for 30 minutes, preferably in the morning.”

The personal address

The server speaks MCP over Streamable HTTP and needs no separate sign-in. Instead you get a personal address in Fokuno. It is your key: whoever knows it can read and change tasks and appointments in your name. Treat it like a password and enter it only in tools you trust.

• You can revoke the address in Fokuno at any time. Then it stops working.
• Of the address, Fokuno stores only a checksum, not the address itself.
• Fokuno sends nothing to AI providers on its own.

Where your data goes

What an assistant retrieves through Fokuno goes to its provider, for example Anthropic, OpenAI or Anysphere, and is subject to your contract with that provider. That is the price of convenience, and it is why the connection is optional.

Fokuno without AI

You need neither Claude nor ChatGPT. The connection is an extra for people who prefer to plan their week in conversation. Fokuno works just as well without it.
