Windows, web and phone
One account, one plan, three ways in. The Windows app can do the most, the web app runs anywhere, and on your phone you see your blocks in your calendar anyway.
Windows
The app for Windows 10 and 11 can do the most. It is the only one that sees which program is in front and can therefore trigger the pause against distractions (Distractions). On top there is a browser extension that reports the address of the page in the active tab. The Windows app also keeps your data locally on the computer and therefore works without internet.
In the browser
The web app runs at app.fokuno.com in the browser. You sign in with the same Google account as in the Windows app and see the same plan.
On your phone
On your phone you open the web app and put it on your home screen. You also see your blocks in your phone’s calendar app, because they are normal events in Google Calendar (Google Calendar).
What is the same everywhere
- One account. Sign in with Google, no registration, no password.
- One plan. Tasks, habits, blocks and your settings go with the account to every device.
- The same rules. The planner works by the same rules everywhere (How Fokuno plans).
What is still missing
Apps for Mac and iPhone are planned but not there yet. Until then Fokuno runs on the Mac and on the iPhone in the browser.
How you get in
Fokuno is free during the beta. New people join in small groups, so we can check that setup works for everyone. The invitation arrives by email, with the button “Activate access”, the Windows download and the link to the web app. The access applies to the Google account you sign in with, not to the address of the email.
Try it in your week.
Sign up. When it’s your turn, the invitation arrives with the download.
